Cornerstone Welcomes Our Summer Interns


This week we welcomed the newest faces to the Cornerstone Team! Komal Sandhu and Chloe Banks joins us this summer as Junior Engineers. Komal is working on obtaining her degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering, and is expected to graduate in Spring of 2025. When she is not studying hard for her degree she is the President of AREMA (American Railway Engineering and Maintenace of Way Association, along with the Treasurer for ASCE and Corresponding Secretary for Tau Beta Pi, Member of SWE and a part of the Smittcamp Family Honors College. Komal is Do It Yourself person she can DIY almost anything. Her favorite quote is "what is meant for you won't pass you by."

Chloe is working on her BS in Civil Engineering with a Structural Emphasis. She is scheduled to graduate at the end of this calendar year. When she is not working hard on finishing up that degree she is a member of the ASCE and SWE. A special talent that people may not know about her is she memorizes "useless" information and song lyrics. She is curious about the world around her and enjoys baking. She also knows how to play the violin. Her favorite quotes are from the world famous children's author Dr. Seuss "today you are you, and that is truer than true. There is no one alive who is youer than you. Why fit in, when you were born to stand out."

We can't wait to see these ladies embark and begin on their professional journeys this summer at Cornerstone.
