Cornerstone is currently working on the rehabilitation of the historic Mineral King arch bridge structure which serves as the only access route to the Mineral King Valley. As such, the bridge is critical for access to several private residences and businesses including the Silver City cabin resort as well as a National Park Service ranger station. The project consists of the rehabilitation of the arch bridge by removal of the carbonated cover concrete, installation of cathodic protection, and replacement of the bridge deck and barrier rail. In order to maintain access during construction, a temporary steel truss bridge was incorporated into the project located just downstream of the existing bridge.
