As part of the Cypress Walk Development for The Olson Company, Cornerstone designed the on-site retaining walls for the project site located within 0.3 miles of the San Andreas Fault.  The retaining walls consisted of both soil nail retaining walls and Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) retaining walls. The soil nail walls consisted of both single and two tier systems with total retained heights of up to 23-feet.  The MSE walls used Keystone Standard Units and were designed for retained heights of up to 18-feet.
